| NISANTASI STREET FESTIVAL, Istanbul 2003: For Fabrica I designed 2 Christmas trees for Benetton and Sisley shops in Istanbul. 40 selected trees took place on
the streets of Nisantasi during the Christmas of 2003. The brief was to use new materials for the trees, and I used materials that we already knew and brought them out
of their existing context. In front of the Sisley shop I used 2 carwash brushes as Christmas trees that were rotating full time. And in front of the Benetton shop I used
green painted hangers which form a wireframe look and create the shape of a Christmas tree. The project was published in various magazines, newspapers and TV Channels. |
